Why is there a Developer license and a Runtime license?

Why is there a Developer license and a Runtime license?

A Runtime license is the license that you need to be able to use our Components in a Servoy Client.

You are allowed to distribute a Runtime license as part of your solution (You have to because it is a string value).

The Developer license is is deprecated and will not be distributed anymore shortly.

This file allowed you to find out your license details using the Components Mananger.

We decided that, in this 'online era', that it is better to perform a 'real time' check.

You are never allowed to distribute a Developer license.
